Just after 5am we were alerted for a working structure fire at the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Darlington Boro.

Engine and Ladder 22 responded with several other fire companies including those from Lawrence County and East Palestine, Ohio, as well as, the Beaver County Strike Team.

Crews battled the flames for several hours. The church building was severely damaged.

The State Fire Marshal was contacted to help determine the cause of the fire.
