Tonight Chippewa was dispatched to assist at a fire in Morado Dwellings in Beaver Falls.
First arriving crews accomplished a quick knock down and the fire was under control rather quickly.
In this day and age it takes multiple departments to get enough equipment and manpower to manage a fire emergency quickly, efficiently and safely. Working together creates a friendship, a bond, a brotherhood!
Capt. Chris Crawford, of Beaver Falls, captured this image showing the brotherhood at work even when the fire is out. Members of multiple departments stayed and helped load the hose back onto Engine 11.
Departments on scene assisting Beaver Falls (11) were New Brighton (84), Rochester (23), Big Beaver (14), and. Chippewa (22). |
