House Fire

November 26, 2023

Yesterday shortly after 4pm Station 22 was alerted to a garage on fire attached to a residence on Park Rd.

The structure fire box alarm for that area also alerted stations 61, 18, and 14 for Engines and tankers as well as Station 11 for RIT.

A working Fire was declared by the first arriving units and Engine 22 put in an immediate request for an Engine and tanker from station 63.

Two attack lines and one backup line were quickly deployed and a quick knock down on the fire was achieved, however, there was heavy smoke and fire throughout and the residence appears to be a total loss.

Crews worked for several hours conducting extensive overhaul operations.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The single occupant and his dog escaped unharmed and there were no reported firefighter injuries.

At the request of the homeowner we will not be posting any pictures of the incident.

The Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department, Beaver Falls, PA would like to express our sincere thanks to all responding agencies.
